Establishing Education in Egypt

Ageth Okeny of Southern Sudan Hope will lead a small team of people interested in supporting the establishment of education in Egypt for Sudanese children who are living in Egypt to escape the civil war in Sudan.  Egyptian education standards for building, furniture, etc. are higher than the rudimentary settings usually found in third world countries, so the expense of establishing ongoing education is exceeding expectations.  Funds are needed for student and teacher desks, chairs, boards and other necessary supplies.  Many of the children will need uniforms/appropriate clothing in order to attend the school.  If you are interested in supporting these efforts or being one member of a small team, please reach out to Ken Whitten at 603-867-9955 or kwhitten@vimissions.com
