Meet the VIM Board
VIM's management team are volunteers who take time from their professional and personal lives, dedicating their efforts to improving the lives of others. There are currently no paid employees.
The Board is supported by multiple volunteers who give their time as mission team leaders, fundraising volunteers, website editors and professional consultants.
We are grateful to all who participate in doing all this work in the name of Jesus Christ. As an interdenominational organization, we welcome all those who wish to serve regardless their skills or background. There is always work to be done and we are glad to have extra hands to get it accomplished.

Rev. Kenneth D. Whitten
President/Director
Ken has been involved in ministry for over 37 years. He had been blessed to minister to the needy in remote corners of the globe in over 50 countries since 1982. He is a small business owner serving the local community and has been Director of VIM since 1999. Ken's strength is building relationships with missionaries on the ground in third world countries and delivering much needed support in the form of mission teams, clothing, financial support and ministry training.
"My heart is going where no one else goes and bringing the love of Jesus to those in need"

Laura L. Morgan
Vice President
The joy on people's faces when we come to their village is a priceless experience and one that challenges putting it into words. Many of the villages we visit are not visited by other mission teams due to the remoteness and very simple conditions under which we live while serving them.
Laura been involved with VIM since 1999 and enjoys her role in chairing the annual Golf Tournament. She enjoys sharing the love of Jesus through local and international opportunities that VIM provides.
Laura enjoys golf, lots of time with family, and spending time with her husband, Charlie and their two dogs.

Deborah C. Whitten
Treasurer
Deb has been alongside her husband, Ken, since the beginning. She feels it is magical to see all that God does in supporting the work of VIM under Ken's leadership. VIM teams travel where others usually do not want to go. The teams live with the people they are serving and have life-changing experiences.
Deborah feels blessed to see the Lord's work done through Ken and the teams that travel around the world.

Dr. Timothy M. Sievers
Medical Director
Tim has served as Medical Director of VIM since 2014. His involvement in mission work began giving medical aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Since then he has been called to serve in Ghana, Rwanda, Haiti & Honduras. The hands-on mission work and travel has enriched his life, exposed him to other cultures, and taught him the value of service in the community of Christ.
Outside of medicine, music is a big part of who Tim is. He enjoyed serving on the worship team at Manchester Christian Church as lead guitarist for many years. He enjoys hiking with his wife, Jenna, and their three standard poodles. He is blessed with three beautiful children who are growing into incredible young adults.

Jeanie Gorski
Board Secretary
Jeanie engaged with VIM in 2009 by going on her first mission trip at the age of 50! The experience awakened a new resolve to serve and she soon joined a committee and took on the role of Fundraising Director. Jeanie joined the Board in 2013 and is now Board Secretary.
Jeanie has traveled to Ghana, Guatemala (2) and Haiti (7) with VIM. Each trip was unique in the make-up of the participants and in what God put in their path.
Jeanie enjoys gardening, golf and baseball watching with her husband Ted.

Carmen Mailloux
Communications Director
Carmen has been involved with domestic and international missions for many years, and also has 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry. VIM trip experience includes numerous trips to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Poland, Ukraine, and serving in-country in NH and NC.
